SO,
the boys is busy sandblasting my mini, they will give it back to me with a coat of primer, question
What would you recommend me doing to the undercarriage?
Paint same as car?
Paint "stone chip"?
Rubberise?

Personally, I'd never, ever, rubberise a car inside or out. I'd go for some stone chip and just keep it black. Possibly body colour in the wheel wells depending on what colour the car is. That's my opinion of course.

I do understand your feelings on ruber, just one tiny hole and....
Cal will be Tahiti Blue, so the wheel wells could stay that... the subframes im making black, so maybe the wheel wells will be black as well.
The stone chip, do i use the type you paint on with a brush?

That's a darkish blue then. My car is a dark blue as well. I put the stonechip down in black in my wheel wells and left it like that. Doesn't look bad. Easier to keep clean as well I think - or at least the illusion of being really clean.
You might get better coverage and thickness with the brush on, but a better finish from a gun. Mind you, no one will be looking under the car, so maybe brush on.

I'm with Jared on this one.
Rather stone chip and I'd go with the brush as you can get it much thicker that way which will allow it to take the punishment from the stones and things much better

Im in Centurion, the guys doing the sandblasting is "http://www.sandblastingboys.co.za/"
They quoted between R3000 & R3500, thats fir the car, 6 mags and a coat of primer, fetching the car on Saturday

I always worry when sand blasting panels that they do not warp!
As for the stonechip, I used a product Called Duram 88.

You can either brush it on or spray it with a compressor. Brushing on leaves you with a slightly thicker layer of protection. Once dry, you can prime over it and colour code if you wish.

Brushing doesn't work nicely, and the roller gives a little bit of texture as well. Seems to be holding up well - even in the wheel wells.
