Wannabe Mini owner - RikusF - 09-30-2016 Hi All So I'm currently in the market to buy me a 1275 bullnose. I will then restore (or attempt to restore) it. It will be the clichè red, white roof, white stripes on the bonnet, 4 spotlights, and 13" rover mini mags. So if anyone wants to sell or knows of someone, here I am ![]() RE: Wannabe Mini owner - Vinay-RS - 09-30-2016 Welcome ![]() RE: Wannabe Mini owner - Jared Mk3 - 09-30-2016 Welcome ![]() (09-30-2016, 03:40 PM)Vinay-RS Wrote: Welcome Mark dependent - round nose came in 850 and 1000 as well. RE: Wannabe Mini owner - Miniac - 10-01-2016 Welcome to the forum, it's definitely not an impossibility to get a 1275 Bullnose as many people have gone down the route of just dropping a bigger capacity engine into their shells over the years, have you considered the SA bigbore 1100 motor that came in most of the SA minis? These motors are fairly easy to convert to 1275 at a later stage but in their factory form are near on bulletproof. RE: Wannabe Mini owner - Minimad - 10-04-2016 Welcome to the forum I have to agree with ED "Miniac" the SA 1100 big bore is a bulletproof engine and just keeps going......with a few modifications the horse power can be increased. But from the description of your dream mini above, like me you are a fan of the Rover mini "Sportspack". Good luck with your hunt, hope to see you build thread on here soon.
