guys

please can you answer me regarding fuel , i own a mini clubman 1098cc  which is the correct fuel and do you have to add a additive to fuel to prevent valve burning ?

please help in this regard

You can use LRP (if you can find it nowadays), otherwise unleaded with an additive, if your head hasn't been converted to accept unleaded fuel. Might be worth doing the conversion.

Basically hardened valve seats are inserted into the head. Most decent engineering shops should be able to do it. I'm busy getting my 1000S head converted to unleaded.
