New Owner 1275 E 1983 - TSWest1956 - 03-28-2018

Good day everyone - I am the proud owner of this Leyland Mini 1275e - 1983 model - never thought I would get the opportunity to own such a great little car.

Thanks Vinay-RS - This one uses a Weber carb (not sure the size/model - need to get under the hood and check it out) but runs very rough and struggles to idle. Also has a dead spot under accelleration and is heavy on fuel - going need some TLC - (Clocks show 980744 kms!)

A good service and perhaps a carb service might sort out most of those issues. That's a lot of kilometres for a car. Are you sure it's not 98074.4 km? The last digit is 1/10th of a kilometre.

Yip you right did not put the digit in the number - the current reading is 98184.4/5 (the 10th is now between 0.4 and 0.5 LOL - not sure how many times it must have returned to zero over its 35 year life span

I think a good service and carb overall will indeed solve the issues - misfire under load (going up hill) and/or acceleration is getting worse now

Hi there it appears to be an aluminium Leyland grille, not chromed or sprayed
