GTS variations

I am not sure why, but the story in the Australian "BMC Experience" on the closure of the factory in Waterloo Sydney has contained within a picture of a South African GTS. Some may appreciate the contrast of the black car with gold stripe against the daffodils.
(I think this may be a promotional frame.)

Have to say I REALLY like the black and gold colour combo - however, I have ever seen one in the flesh/metal

I am rebuilding my first new car a MINI GTS I bought FEB 1974 , I need a full set of the original plastic wheel arches, the set I took off are badly cracked.
