Wind up glass for Sliding glass

Hi

I am looking for sliding windows

I have wind up glass and mechanisms im looking to sell or trade, comes off a mk3 mini

Sliding windows don't fit in a MK3. The doors differ from the MK1/2 to MK3. Our local MK3 (one with a boot) have the same doors as the clubmans and MK3 UK cars which you can't fit sliding window to.

Well you can but it is work, allot of work. And you will have to have glass made then.

its this tipe of info i need... I understand there is a conversion kit, but have not see what it actually does

There is a company in the UK that makes the kit.

You basically gut everything including the inner door out. Weld in a channel for the glass to slide in. Put some rubbers in and then the sliding glass. Sounds easy right. . .

It it possible but Shizly expensive. Think importing the kit now will be close to R10k.

It would be cheaper to look at how a normal sliding window door works and then making something up or having someone like me make something for you.
