This 1973 model was for sale on gumtree in February 2013. It looked like a real timewarp example, so I saved all the pics.
Note the early grille and shield badge

Ok, it's back...
Engine bay. Lockheed brake booster, same as the one used in the Mk2 S by all appearances. Looks like this one has had some performance conversion done on the air filtration system. It also still has its voltage control box which suggests the early ones used a dynamo.

Looks like the engine bay had a coat of black paint over the red originally?

Interior with the famous 3 clock cluster and bucket seats. These seats may have been redone (?) The steering wheel also looks like it may be an aftermarket item.
