Thanks all. Will start a new thread so you all know the progress as i go along. The engine is actually a Austin Apahe S engine which i believe to be very similar to the cooper s Models same sort of HP. The orange car in the back is indeed a moke it belongs to the gent who rebuilt the engine for me he is in Bulawayo and currently has +/- 15 minis, even has a late 1996 fuel injected one.
