Your mini and the weekend
#1
So what happened to your mini over the weekend?

Sponge bath, oil change or one step closer to being finished?

My pallet with wheels got an upgrade to handle the weight much better. Shouldn't have another hiccup when trying to move the motor around, in theory at least.

Mine stayed in the garage, untouched and unseen. I did make some progress with the GT though.

It'll have to. I'll try and finish building it, get her on the road and then take her in to be redone.

Didn't get to do anything over the weekend Sad Just took him for a drive to work and back on both Saturday and Sunday. He really needs a good clean and a long list of small jobs need doing...

Spencer got a wash, a polish and a wax on Saturday afternoon, then on Sunday i took Pam and Liam out for a lekker long drive up to the British car show in Pretoria.

About 40 minutes drive on the freeway to meet up with the rest of the MOCSA crew at Menlyn BMW, then another 15 minutes to the show site, then another 40 minute drive home.

The Mini didn't miss a beat.

Me and the old chap also met up with The rest of the mini gang at Menlyn Mini and then drove to POMC for British Car Day event.

On the grounds of the show I decided to drop my exhaust (came off where the LCB and straight connect into each other)

Sean's mini correct jack , Rui's impersonation of the Chuck Norris round house kick and me under the car holding the 2 pieces in position saw it fixed in under 5 mins.

Thanks again gents for the assistance.

That's some real "teaming" right there.

I've never seen a Portuguese impersonation of Chuck Norris before must be quite something. Lol
