HI guys and Ladies

I am new to the forum , been looking for an active forum to find information and idea`s for awhile now..

I have a mini leyland 1980 but it is not standard at all..
I currently have a series 4 13b rotary turbo in it rear wheel driven...

I am busy redoing the whole car over and need to get the interior done soon.. so ideas and images would be great :-)
I am also looking for a new bonnet i saw there is a guy that makes fiber glass bonnets?

Thank you and happy to be here :-)

Welcome to the forum Smile Let's see some pics of your project.

Yes, Andrew Shadwell in Cape Town manufactures fibreglass bonnets, which are of a very high quality.

For designs of the interior, it really depends on the look that you are after. I quite like the classic/retro racer look, with a minimalistic dash, with a couple of extra gauges and a set of classic bucket seats (like the cobra classics).

Dude you have to let us see some pictures of your car!

Very few rotary minis in SA and even fewer that are in a decent shape.

But nevertheless welcome!!

:-)

Sure here are some of the "OLD" and "New" pictures..
I am not done but as money comes in i do stuff to the car..also note i am trying everything myself.. Painting it was a great learning curve..
only thing i didnt do was the mechanical work..

I like plain an simple , interior will be Black and white :-)

I bought the car you see it in Blue , and then the work started and is on going :-)
its currently in for a new EFI system and hopefully slapper bars ..then roll cage and interior :-)

let me know your thoughts , I am open to idea`s..

You bought this recently?

There is another mini in the lurks with a similar red/maroon paint job. Looks really good man.
Although I'm not much of a fan of that huge dash sticking out there

Front mounted motor?

Yes the dash is very much in your face... i would really like to get the old dash style sorted..

It is a front mounted engine and rear wheel driven..
