Getting there slowly

Hey all,

I've wanted a Mini for longer than I can remember. Back in the early years of high school I always saw adverts in the newspaper for R3000 etc and thought hey I could save and get that.
At that point I obviously didn't have a drivers license nor space.
Well, not much has changed except that I am older and have a drivers license

Anyway, I stay in Cape Town area and have decided to start by rebuilding a 1275 engine. One I get some more space I will get myself the car too.
Sadly I haven't found an engine yet, but I have in the mean time ordered the David Vizard Tuning the A-series book.

Sometimes, as with any hobby or passion, it' as cheap or as expensive as you make it.
