Some get restored, some die

Sad
Sad day today.
Red light jumper.
Hopefully can salvage the 47wkW motor and some other bits.
Will see - need to bend stuff to get into the bonnet but can't yet with broken sternum (at least I mounted the seatbelt well)

Might be in the market for a good bakkie body?

Good to know it wasn't a worse accident, they still suck though.

By the by, who's your insurance for a car this old?

There are 2 suppliers. I used Zurich new wheels classic & collectibles, and the other one advertised on this forum for a long time (but sorry it didn't sink in)
The car was insured for 65k, which is an agreed value.
In this case was the cost of the restoration parts, excluding labour.
The premium was R1056 pa (R88/month) comprehensive with a 5600km pa limit

Thanks for all the sympathy!
